For Father’s Day this past Sunday, I treated myself and my wonderful family to some massive beef back ribs and some pork baby back ribs, all slow smoked on my Mini Weber Smokey Mountain. I’m a big fan of slow smoking with a water pan, so since the Mini isn’t really ideal for that (especially if using both racks for food) I was a bit nervous since this was the first time slow cooking ribs on the Mini. Well…let me just say they turned out amazing and just as tender as when smoking with a water pan. I’m in a rush so don’t really have time to type out ingredients and cooking instructions, but all you need to know is I used the Simply Marvelous Cherry Rub on the beef ribs and the Simply Marvelous Pecan Rub on the baby backs. I’ve got some teaser pics below, but for the entire process, from prep time to eatin’ time, is all in the video at the very bottom. I am salivating just looking back at these pictures right now….
Rubbed down and begging to be thrown on the smoker!
