A follower of my blog (Joe), who previously sent me pics of a custom Detroit Lions Mini WSM build, sent me some pics the other day of two new Mini builds he recently completed: a Philadelphia Eagles Mini and a Green Bay Packers Mini. If you’re wondering what “Mini WSM’s” are, well essentially, they’re small scale versions of a Weber Smokey Mountain vertical water charcoal smoker. They’re ultra portable and can easily smoke two large cuts of meat plus a few other smaller items. They’re also more fuel efficient than a normal size Weber Smokey Mountain b/c of their smaller size. If you’re interested, make sure to check out my step by step instructions for how to build a Mini WSM.
If you build a Mini with a nice custom paint job that you’d like to share here on my blog, hit me up on my Contact page! Thanks again Joe and great job!!!

I finally got around to building my first one right before Christmas. Liked it so much I ordered a second pot off Amazon, found a second grill and now my son has one also. My paint job is no where close to the quality of Joe’s, but I sure do like using mine. They are just so perfect for smaller quantities. I also built mine using a Smokey Joe Gold and once it get dialed in, it will sit stable in the 225-250 range for hours.. Using my 18.5 inch WSM is a labor of love, but the mini WSM is so much easier.
