Juicy Lucy with Pulled Pork

A few weeks ago, I attempted pulled pork stuffed hamburgers.  They came out really good, but one of the comments I got on a BBQ forum that I participate in is that I should have done them “Juicy Lucy” style which is basically having cheese on the inside of the burgers.  We were planning on a house full of friends (which is almost an every weekend occurrence…) this past Saturday so I thought I’d try Juicy Lucy’s with pulled pork in the inside as well.  You can watch my process below, but the biggest tip I can give you is making sure you make your hamburger patties big enough so you have plenty of room to pinch the sides down and seal in the cheese and pulled pork.  I grilled them on the Weber kettle with 1 small piece of apple wood.  They came out just about perfect.  I probably cooked a few of them a little too long, but that wasn’t a big deal as there was so much flavor.  We also served them with grilled onions, sliced avocado and candied jalapenos.  Let me know if you make your own and how they come out!
