Beer Spotlight – Dogfish Head World Wide Stout

The Dogfish Head World Wide Stout is an American Double Stout that appears almost pitch black when poured into a glass.  It’s incredibly thick and is filled with hints of roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, molasses and fruit.  Considering the 18% abv. on this beast, it’s actually incredibly smooth and easy to drink compared to a lot of other American Doubles / Imperial Stouts.   This is one to drink slowly and just enjoy.  Let me know what you think if you’ve had this one before.
